ACQUISITION ANNOUNCEMENT | Westlink Business Park, Acheson, Alberta
Panattoni Development Company, in partnership with Fiera Real Estate Investments Limited (“FRE”), is pleased to announce the recent purchase of 152 acres of zoned industrial development land in Acheson, Alberta. The site fronts directly onto Highway 16A and will benefit from a new traffic light intersection at Highway 16A and Spruce Valley Road for unmatched access into the business park. The site is an excellent location for logistics and other industrial uses located minutes away from the City of Edmonton boundary along with nearby access to Highway 60, the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 16), and Anthony Henday Drive (Highway 216).
Subdivision and engineering design work will be ongoing in 2023 in preparation for land servicing work, which can commence immediately to coincide with new market demand. West Link Business Park will offer a variety of parcel sizes for development including some of the largest industrial lot configurations in the Edmonton region
This newly acquired site will be Panattoni’s fourth large scale industrial land development project in Acheson including, most recently, Highlands Business Park. Acheson continues to prove attractive to large-scale users due to its proximity to major highways and the CN intermodal yard, its shovel ready industrial land. Its continued growth is driven by a business-focused environment from Parkland County and by large scale tenants including Amazon’s recently announced facility at Highlands Business Park.
